Job Description
A local manufacturer of commercial refrigeration/freezer units is in need of traveling Validation Technicians. Technicians will travel to customer sites around the US and conduct the validation testing of newly installed freezers/HVAC units and re-validation for existing freezers/HVAC units. This position requires flexibility to travel, strong attention to detail, good people skills, and the ability to work in cold environments. Previous validation experience is greatly desired. Must be able to work weekends when required.

-$20/hour to start

RESPONSIBILTIES include, but are not limited to:
-Traveling to customer location to validate equipment
-Careful handling/usage of validation equipment
-Travel planning - scheduling airfare, rental car, hotel
-Using small hand tools
-Handwritten and computer documentation
-Interacting with customers
-Assisting co-workers with whatever is needed between trips
REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
-Possess great attention to detail
-Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
-Good communication skills - verbally and written
-Able to work independently and with good ethics
-Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
-Able to use small hand tools
-Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
-Able to lift 50 pounds
-Able to work in very cold environment
-Prior cGMP experience is desired
-MUST BE ABLE to pass a background check and drug screen
-MUST have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record review. MUST BE at least 25 years old to apply - car rental practices require driver to be at least 25.
