Job Description
A leading Spokane manufacturer of custom electronic hardware is looking for an entry-level Shop Assistant/Quality Control team member. They will train you!
You will be working around the machines to insure they operate properly (not a machine operator, just keeping an eye on them and making sure materials feed properly). You will be inspecting the manufactured parts as they come out of the chute to determine if a part meets requirements. You will also be assisting the machine operators and working in the shop doing whatever is needed.
Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time. Experience with micrometers and calipers is necessary. Ability to read blueprints is helpful. Good attendance and strong work ethic are very important! Must be willing to cross-train in other areas and help out as needed.
PAY:
$17.00 - $19.00/hour
Depends on Experience
SHIFT:
Monday-Friday
6: 00am - 2: 00pm
REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
* Ability to perform basic math
* Ability to read calipers and micrometers
* Ability to read and understand blueprints
* Ability to be on feet for most of scheduled shift
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
