Job Description

E are seeking a quality Shipping & Receiving Clerk with 2+ yrs experience for growing Spokane, WA company. A Shipping Clerk, or Shipping and Receiving Clerk, is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damage to inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understands and utilizes company specific computer systems and software to direct and control workflow.
- Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and take pride in products being distributed.
- Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened, while maintaining the rotation of product to ensure freshness.
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
- Helps to clean up all warehouse areas worked during shift by sweeping, discarding trash, and empty boxes prior to end of shift.
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries.
- Maintain the company finished goods inventory through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements - High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must be 18 years of age. - Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations and inventory procedures. - Excellent verbal communication. - Good attendance record and ability to work OT when required. - Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures - Frequently lift parts up to 50 pounds individually - Frequently bending, reaching, climbing, walking, and squatting while performing job tasks
