Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Regional Sales Manager to join a growing Pacific Northwest industrial company that specializes in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning and hazardous wastes.  The regional sales manager will lead a sales team of 6 - 8 focused business development and inside sales individuals that carry revenue quota responsibility.  

The Regional Sales Manager can be based out of Vancouver, WA, Tacoma, WA or Caldwell, Idaho.

Duties Include:
 
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
  • Assume accountability for overall  business development teams’ sales pipeline, revenue, and accountability to CRM usage for all  Business Development personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, guide, coach and lead a geographically focused Business Development Sales Team to achieve sales objectives/goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve personal revenue targets.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Must be motivated, self-disciplined and possess strong time management skills.
  • Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Develops quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Responds to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, competitive landscape, and any challenges or opportunities in the region.
  • Stay informed about the latest market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities
  • Oversee the sales budget for the region, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve sales targets.
  • Builds and maintains long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Partners with operations to improve customer experience while enhancing and building customer loyalty.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
 
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing/sales, environmental science, and/or relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales management experience.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the hazardous waste/environmental sector required.
  • Proven Sales Management and Business Development/Sales track record.
  • Working knowledge of 40 and 49 CFRs.
  • Strong communication, presentation and organization skills – business acumen.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.
