Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Temporary Part-Time Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the smooth running of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining office supplies, managing communication, assisting with scheduling, human resources and providing support to various departments as needed. This role requires a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively with the team.  This could turn into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Administration:

  • Manage daily office operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • Maintain and order office supplies, equipment, and stationery.

  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and mail, directing them to the appropriate departments.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members.

  • Coordinate conference room bookings and set up for meetings or events.

  • Support to Teams:

  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including HR, finance, and management.

  • Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and resources.

  • Record Keeping and Documentation:

  • Maintain and update office records, including inventory, files, and databases.

  • Ensure that all documents are properly organized and accessible when needed.

  • Office Environment:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office space.

  • Assist with office-related projects and improvements.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office equipment.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or office management courses a plus.

    Working Hours:
    This is a part-time position, Tuesday - Thursday. Flexibility may be required based on business needs.

    Compensation:
    Competitive hourly wage, based on experience.
