Job Description
A leading business to business construction supply distribution company is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to join their team.
Duties Include:
* Sell, quote and demonstrate products to new and existing customers
* Work with sales/store manager to develop sales opportunities
* Interface with purchasing to provide quotes on job orders
* Travel to customer locations to understand needs
* Communicate with owners, superintendents and other positions within the organization
for job specifications.
* Order entry, quotes and inventory management
* Other account manager duties as assigned
Desired Experience:
* 2+ Years of sales experience, preferably distribution.
* Proven track record of growing a sales territory
* Knowledge of market pricing for products a plus
* Knowledge of construction, job phases, sub-trades etc. Is helpful
* Self-motivated and organized
* Good communication skills
* Microsoft office skills
