Medical Insurance Follow Up Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a quality Medical Insurance Follow Up Specialist for growing billing office located in Spokane Valley, WA.
A medical insurance follow-up job involves collecting and managing accounts, following up with insurance companies, reconciling accounts, filing corrected claims, appealing claims when appropriate, assisting in posting cash, adjustments and customer service support.
The responsibilities of an insurance follow-up representative include but not limited to:
-Conducting analysis/research and leading dispute resolutions in appeals processes
-Answering phone inquiries from patients and insurance regarding bills, charges, and account status
-Resolving issues holding up timely claim payment, including requests for medical records, coordination
with Customer Service and other related departments
-Investigating over-payments and taking appropriate action to resolve
-Other duties as assigned by manager
