Credentialing Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a quality Medical Credentialing Specialist with 2+ years experience for growing OB/GYN practice located in North Spokane, WA.
A Credentialing Specialist is responsible for reviewing and authenticating credentials, qualifications, licenses, certifications, and other relevant documents submitted by individuals or organizations.
The duties of a Credentialing Specialist may include but are not limited to:
-Documenting professionals' qualifications and accreditations
-Maintaining databases with relevant information
-Reviewing applications and resumes and performing background checks for potential hires
-Verifying doctors' eligibility before assigning privileges
-Processing paperwork for hospital personnel
-Communicating with governmental licensing boards
-Other duties assigned by Manager
