Dairy Service Technician - Oregon
Job Description
A very large dairy is in need of a Service Technician for their Boardman, OR location. The Service Technician will be providing maintenance/repairs on a variety of dairy industry-specific equipment (including robotic equipment). Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, vacuum, pneumatic, and HVAC systems is desired. Prior dairy equipment experience would be fantastic! Will oversee a small team of service technicians, so management experience is helpful.
PAY:
$30.00-$40.00/hour
Depends on Experience
BENEFITS:
-10 paid holidays per year
-Monthly commission paid on sales
-401(k) with 50% matching after 1 year of employ
-Health insurance
SHIFT:
Monday thru Friday
7: 30am-4: 30pm
Possibility of overtime/after hour calls in emergencies
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
-Manage small service tech team for a very large professional dairy
-Perform maintenance and repairs on existing dairy systems, including milking, milk refrigeration, milk testing, and robotic equipment
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
-Servicing a variety of dairy equipment that includes: electrical, plumbing, vacuum, pneumatic systems
-Manage service truck inventory and truck maintenance
-Able to work with computers
REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
-Good customer service and communication skills
-Possess good problem-solving skills
-Positive attitude and good work ethic
-Knowledge of HVAC systems is a huge plus - possibility of client sponsored training available
-Must be able to work with a team and also be self-directed
-Must have good management skills
MUST BE ABLE to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
