Job Description
A local, Airway Heights, family-owned business providing structural steel solutions, is currently looking for Welders and Fitters to join their team. This is a great temp-hire opportunity to join a great company that takes pride in their employees and strives for the best quality of craftsmanship!
**Welders are assigned to welds that are commensurate to their skill level**
PAY:
Welders: $20.00+/hour
Fitters: $22.00+/hour
Depends on Experience and Shift
(Swing Shift Differential is $1.50/hour)

Eligible starting 1st of month following perm hire
SHIFTS:
Day Shift: 4: 00am-2: 30pm
Swing Shift: 3: 00pm-1: 30am
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
-Efficiently and accurately weld parts that were previously tack-welded
-Preheating, scarfing, and grinding
-Welders are assigned to welds that are commensurate to their skill level
-Routine welding machine maintenance
-Reporting machine problems
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to:
-Ability to operate overhead cranes, rosebuds, grinders
-Requires experience with FCAW .045 and 1/16" wire
-Firm understanding of weld symbols and WPS
-Documentation - Procedure Qualification Record as required
-Ability to read and understand shop drawing
***MUST have Welder certifications (AWS, WABO) - minimum 2G certification
***MUST be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check***
