Staff Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated and team player Staff Accountant to join a rapidly growing company headquarters in Spokane. This position represents the first line of contact with vendor finance departments, and is responsible for statement reconciliation, payment schedules, and closing procedures for monthly financial reporting. This position reports directly to company principals.
*** This is an in office position (No remote)
Monday - Friday
8: 00am - 5: 00pm
Duties Include:
* Maintains accurate vendor payable accounts through detailed reconciliation
* Processes high volume invoices from multiple locations
* Plans and executes weekly payments as directed by managers
* Maintains accurate AP data to report to company principals
* Assists the Controller with month end closing procedures
* Communicates effectively to Store Managers regarding vendor accounts
* Enters data and generates reporting through Company financial software
* Follows company protocol in maintaining confidential documents
* Organizes and prioritizes tasks
* Performs other duties as assigned
Requirement:
* 2+ years with accounting experience
* Bachelor's in accounting
* Great computer skills/excel skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Team player
* Good communications
