Job Description
A local transloading company is hiring experienced forklift drivers for their Mead, WA location. Projects include offloading timber, butane canisters, and gas/oil products. Experience with timber/lumber, hazmat, or oil industry is preferred. Must be ready to hit the ground running with minimal instruction.
PAY:
$17.00-$20.00/hour, depending on experience
SHIFT:
Monday through Friday
6: 00am-4: 00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Unloading timber from railcars and reloading onto semi trucks
-Unloading butane canisters from railcars and reloading onto semi trucks
-Loading timber onto flat-bed trucks
-Will be driving a 15, 000 lb. - 26, 500 lb. Forklift with a lumber hook ranging in size from 4 ft.-7 ft.
-Will also be using skid steers and skip loaders
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to pass drug screen
-Previous timber/lumber experience is preferred, but not required
-Previous experience with hazmat, butane canisters, oil barrels
-Interview will be hands-on and will include the opportunity to demonstrate your forklift driving ability
-High school diploma or equivalent
