Job Description
A manufacturer of commercial refrigeration and freezer systems is seeking an equipment handler/testing technician to join their team. They will train you for this role. This position requires great attention-to-detail and is fast-paced with multitasking. Hate standing around? Love a variety of responsibilities? This position is for you! PAY:
$18.00/hour

SHIFT:
Monday - Friday
7: 00am - 4: 00pm
Possible overtime, as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
-Moving boxes and equipment in the warehouse
-Working with small hand tools like pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, heat gun, soldering iron, caulking gun, box cutters, and tape gun
-Conduct validation testing to determine if refrigerator/freezer units are maintaining accurate temperatures
-Careful documentation by hand and computer of test results
-Packaging equipment for shipment to customers
-Inventory and cleaning of items returned from customers
-Various miscellaneous tasks, as needed
-Handling phone calls with good customer service
REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
-Must have great attention-to-detail
-Must have good communication skills, including verbal and written
-Must have legible handwriting
-Enjoy working with your hands
-Able to use small hand tools
-Mechanically inclined
-Good computer skills and experience using office equipment like scanner, fax machine
-Physically able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must be able to work in cooler environment
-Not afraid to get dirty
-Able to work independently or as part of a team
