Job Description
A company specializing in the service and installation of HVAC systems and boilers is looking for a Controls Technician who would be responsible for the startup and checkout of temperature controls installation. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to problem solve independently. Must be mechanically inclined, have knowledge of HVAC equipment, including low voltage. Knowledge of Automated Logic control systems is a huge plus! Previous HVAC technician experience is highly desired!
PAY:
$24.00-$29.00/hour
Depends on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
-Startup. Checkout, and commissioning of temperature controls installations
-Order and oversee material delivery
-Assist project manager in coordinating control system installation
-Resolve any installation challenges
-Maintaining positive relationship with customers, contractors, and trade personnel
-Adhere to company's high standard of safety
REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to:
-A minimum of 2 years experience in Controls (DDC) market
-Experience working directly with contractors on commercial projects
-Good computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite - network experience
-Knowledge of low voltage
-Previous HVAC experience
-Problem solving skills
-Able to work independently or with a team
-Self-motivated
-Able to take directions and learn
-Good communication and customer service skills
-Previous experience with Automated Logic (ALC) control systems is highly desirable
-Previous HVAC Technician experience is fantastic!
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
